Location:

Northern Kodiak, South and East of Womens Bay and to the headwaters of Russian Creek, the east side of Center Mountain south downstream of the headwaters of Rough Creek. Hunt area includes Kalsin Ridge, a portion of Center Mountain, and the Marin Range. See area map (Image file 78 kB) for more information.

Land Ownership:

Access:

Goats occupy Kalsin Ridge, Center Mountain and the Marin Range. Most of the hunt area is easily accessed by foot off of the road system, but a few hunters fly into Summit Lake.

From 2013 to 2017 the population of goats in this area has ranged from 300 to 370 goats.
