Area Overview

Goose Bay State Game Refuge Located in Upper Cook Inlet on the west side of Knik Arm across from Anchorage, Goose Bay State Game Refuge features a wetlands embayment drained by Goose Creek. Along its inland boundary, shrub habitat predominates. Fierce Knik Arm tides scour the outer shoreline of the refuge's eastern boundary.
