Chinook update

  • Trolling activity has been slight these past weeks
  • Some fish are reportedly moving in closer to town and up near Knight Island
  • Trolling success will usually pick up in late February

Steelhead Update

  • River conditions are good for steelhead angling
  • Little effort has been reported lately
  • The fish that are being caught are well up river
  • Road conditions are fair
  • Some snow last week made the drive out to 9 mile a bit more difficult
  • A 4x4 is necessary to reach the river, but travel along the river is easy due to lack of drifted snow
