Steelhead Update

  • River conditions are good for now and overall weather conditions are warm, but fish are reportedly scarce
  • Late last week some new bright fish were caught in the 9 mile bridge area, but only a few
  • All roads are open and very little snow is on the ground along the river
  • Conditions in the lower river are getting close to drawing new fish into the river, and some evidence of a eulachon run beginning to show has started in nearby streams
