Chinook update

  • Chinook angling was reportedly fair last week when weather allowed
  • Trolling was good during cold clear days
  • Baitfish are common in the inner bay as are sea lions and some whales

Steelhead Update

  • Steelhead angling was poor last week due to heavy rains
  • Warm weather heated up the river but the water was too high to fish
  • As of Monday flows were returning to normal but temperatures are cooling
  • Snow conditions are making the roads pretty rough and a good 4x4 is needed to get out to 9 mile
