Small Game Hunting (Two-part class)
Session I: 10am–12:30 pm. Ptarmigan, grouse, and hare can make a tasty dinner. Learn to identify small game species, and about the regulations, legal methods, and what equipment you'll need for hunting. Learn how to care for, and field-dress small game.
Session II: 1pm–4pm. Develop a hunter "search image." Learn to identify and differentiate small game habitats and the plant species they utilize. Participants will have the opportunity to venture into the field with Small Game Biologist Rick Merizon to observe observe hare and grouse habitat.
