Invasive Species — Red-legged Frog (Rana aurora)
Never release live frogs or any other aquatic organisms into Alaskan waters. If you find an amphibian that is not a wood frog or a western toad, please take a picture, note its location, time, and data, and contact your local office of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game or call 1-877-INVASIVE.
Check the Clean List to make sure that amphibians purchased at pet stores are legal to have in Alaska and never release them into the wild.
