Salmon Scale Wiki provides a Chinook salmon scale age estimation reference created, edited, and updated by users across Alaska.

Salmon Scale Wiki was started in September, 2016 by Lorna Wilson, Rich Brenner, and Bev Agler as part of the Saltonstall-Kennedy Grant Program funded project "Chinook Salmon Scale-based Age Study." The purpose of this site is to provide a manual for Chinook salmon scale age estimation and to act as a scale pattern version of Wikipedia, a popular free web-based encyclopedia.

The thoroughness and accuracy of this Wiki depends on user contributions.
