Steelhead Angling Update

Situk River – The River is reportedly clear of log jams for the most part. River flows are very low and floating the river is a chore. Temperatures are still a bit cold at night for the season although daily mid day temps rise with the recent sunny days.

Steelhead are beginning to show throughout the river. Small numbers are moving into the lower river with high tides and some have begun to come out of Situk Lake as well. Anglers are finding more steelhead in the lower sections of the river right now.
