Handicrafts and clothing made from sea other furs subsistence-harvested by Alaska Natives may be sold provided they are created using traditional Native handicraft methods (i.e., not mass produced).


Sea otters are harvested by Alaska Natives for subsistence use. They are taken for their furs.


Sea otters are very charismatic and are popular for wildlife viewing.
