Invasive Species — Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar)
Pathways

Atlantic salmon often escape fish-farming net pens off the coasts of British Columbia and Washington State. When this happens, Atlantic salmon may join schools of Pacific salmon as they move into Alaska waters, where they can be caught by commercial fisherman, sport or subsistence anglers.
