This permit is valid for taking one brown bear in Unit 4 covered by Registration Hunt RB077 in accordance with the current Alaska Hunting Regulations and conditions described below:

1. By signing, the hunter acknowledges watching the brown bear identification video, "Take a Closer Look," viewable online at http://vimeo.com/30511231, or available for loan at ADF&G offices.
2. Season dates: September 15 - December 31.
3. Legal animal: One brown bear, except cubs or females accompanied by cubs.
4. Evidence of sex (penis sheath or vaginal opening) must remain naturally attached to hide until sealed.
5. The Northeast Chichagof Controlled Use Area is closed to the use of any motorized land vehicle for brown bear hunting. However, this prohibition does not apply to the transportation of brown bear hunters, their hunting gear, and/or parts of brown bears directly between the Hoonah Airport, Hoonah City Dock, and the Alaska Marine Highway ferry terminal.
6. Successful hunters must report their kill to ADF&G in Sitka or Douglas within 10 days of kill. Completed hunt reports are due at the time of sealing.
