Hunting Conditions

This permit is valid for taking one mountain goat in Unit 1C covered by Registration Hunts RG012/013/014/015 in accordance with the current Alaska Hunting Regulations and conditions described below:

1. Hunt areas
RG012: Unit 1C, that portion draining into Lynn Canal and Stephens Passage between Antler River and Eagle Glacier/River
RG013: Unit 1C remainder
RG014 (archery only): Unit 1C, that mainland portion draining into the south bank of Little Sheep Creek, Gastineau Channel south of Little Sheep Creek, Stephens Passage, and Taku Inlet between the mouth of Little Sheep Creek and Taku Glacier including that portion between the south side of Blackerby Ridge and the north side of Salmon Creek Reservoir, above the 1,000 ft. contour and east to Observation Peak
RG015, Unit 1C, drainages of the Chilkat Range south of the south bank of the Endicott River.

2. Season dates:
RG012: October 1 - November 30
RG013 and RG014: August 1 - November 30
RG015: September 1 - November 30.

3. Legal animal: One goat of either sex; the taking of nannies with kids is prohibited.

4. RG014 is an archery only hunt. All bowhunters must have an IBEP or equivalent certificate to participate in RG014. A map of the hunt area is available at ADF&G in Douglas and Haines.

5. Successful hunters must return the completed hunt report to ADF&G in Douglas within 5 days of kill.

6. Unsuccessful hunters and permittees who did not hunt must return the completed hunt report to ADF&G, or report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov, within 15 days of close of season. If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits the next regulatory year. In addition, your name may be forwarded to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.
