Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Must report harvest to ADF&G within 15 days of kill; must report in person with required specimens to ADF&G or appointed sealer within 30 days of kill.
    • Specimens Required: Jan 1 - May 31: Present skinned-out skull and the hide (with evidence of sex and claws naturally attached) for sealing. June 1 - June 30: Present skinned-out skull and, if retained, the hide (with evidence of sex and claws naturally attached) for sealing.
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Must return the completed hunt report to ADF&G, or report online at hunt.alaska.gov, within 15 days of close of season.
  • Internet Reporting
    You may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov
