Southeast Alaska

Fishing on most federal public lands is now subject to federal as well as state fishing regulations.
If you plan to fish on federal public lands, consult the Subsistence Management Regulations for Federal Public Lands in Alaska. It is available at many federal land managing agencies' field office, at the Office of Subsistence Management (1-800-478-1456), or online at: http://www.doi.gov/subsistence/index.cfm. Inseason closures can occur at any time and may not be reflected in the federal subsistence management booklet, so it is advisable to also contact the federal agency for the area where you intend to fish.
NOTICE: Emergency Orders always supersede the published regulations.
