Management
Starlings are listed as "deleterious exotic wildlife" in Alaska Department of Fish and Game regulations, so should be dealt with accordingly: Unless permitted by the department, a person may not negligently or intentionally feed deleterious exotic wildlife. There are no bag limits or closed seasons for the taking of deleterious exotic wildlife. Deleterious exotic wildlife may be taken by any method unless prohibited in 5 AAC 92.080 or as defined by management area in 5 AAC 92.530. Be sure to check state and local regulations and ordinances before you establish a plan for dispatching starlings.
