Lower Cook Inlet Management Area

The aquatic plant fishery in Cook Inlet targets kelp and seaweed that has become naturally detached and has washed up on beaches. This material is used primarily by commercial greenhouse growers on the lower Kenai Peninsula as a soil additive.
