Saltwater Fishing
King salmon are available in inside and outside marine waters around Prince of Wales with good catches reported by some anglers. Halibut, lingcod and rockfish fishing is currently good.
Freshwater Fishing
Steelhead fishing is poor as most fish have spawned and water conditions are very low. It is still early for salmon to be present in freshwaters. The following lakes and associated stream drainages should offer good trout and Dolly Varden fishing; Control, Klawock, Luck, and Red Bay Lakes as well as the Thorne River drainage.
