Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Report in person to Homer, Soldotna, Anchorage, or Palmer within 10 days of kill.
    • Specimens Required: Antlers naturally attached to skull plate and 5-inch section of lower jaw with front teeth.
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Report online, by mail, or in person to ADF&G within 15 days of season end.
  • Internet Reporting
    If you hunted unsuccessfully or did not hunt, you may report online at

  • Attention Kenai Peninsula Moose Hunters: All hunters, including DM508 permit winners, must complete an online Moose Hunter Orientation on determining legal game animals before hunting moose in Units 7 or 15.     Access into Subunit 15B is difficult. Horses are generally necessary for a successful hunt. ATV's are not permitted in this area, and aircraft access is extremely limited.
