Small Game Hunting
Ptarmigan, grouse, and hare can make a tasty dinner. In this class, you'll learn all about the basics of small game hunting, how to field dress small game, and how to recognize good hunting habitat. The class is taught by ADF&G small game biologist, Rick Merizon. Minimum age of 10 years old. All equipment provided.

Small Game Field to Fork
Are you outdoor savvy and interested in hunting but have never had the time/knowledge/skills/mentor — (fill in the blank) — to pursue it? In this multi-day course, you will learn what it takes to get started from choosing the right equipment and firearm to planning your trip and identifying species. This course is designed to take participants through a Basic Hunter Education class on March 9th and then follow-up with an opportunity three weeks later to harvest, field dress, and cook small game.
