Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Report within 3 days of kill in person, online or by phone
    • Specimens Required: A)TROPHY DESTRUCTION of skulls by hunter at kill site. Submit the distal (hook) portion of the horns to ADF&G within 3 days of harvest. B) LOWER FRONT JAW (5-inch section) with front teeth to ADF&G within 3 days of harvest
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Report by July 15, 2026 in person, by mail, online or by phone
  • Internet Reporting
    You may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov

Additional Requirements and Information

  • Hunt area: Unit 23 Sheshalik Spit (Sisualik Spit)
  • Hunting is restricted to privately owned, state-managed lands of Sheshalik Spit (Sisualik Spit). Private landowner permission is required prior to hunting.
