Hunting Conditions

1) WHEN: Sept. 1 - Dec. 16. Hunt will close by Emergency Order (EO) when the harvest quota of 25 birds has been met. EO information can also be viewed online by following links at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/.

2) WHERE: Unit 22

3) BAG LIMIT: One (1) Emperor Goose per regulatory year. This permit is not valid if you have harvested an Emperor Goose during the fall/winter hunt elsewhere in Alaska during this regulatory year. You may have one permit per hunt area.

4) REQUIREMENTS: Hunters should review migratory bird hunting regulations as well as license and duck stamp requirements online at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/.

5) REPORTING: Successful hunters must report within 3 days of kill by phone (1-800-478-7468), online at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/, or in person to any ADF&G office. All permit holders must return their permit report to ADF&G within 15 days of the season end.

6) WHO QUALIFIES: Alaska residents.

7) SIGNATURE: You must sign your permit and comply with the permit hunt conditions and any additional restrictions found in the Alaska Migratory Bird Hunting Regulations. You must carry your signed permit while hunting. If successful, you must notch the harvest ticket with the month and day of kill before leaving the kill site.

8) PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT: If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (drawing, targeted, tier II, and registration, including Tier I Nelchina Caribou) during the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.
