Reporting Requirements

• Successful Hunters
  • Report within 14 days of kill. Return the completed permit report card to the vendor that issued the permit, or to Fairbanks ADF&G.
  • Specimens Required: All successful hunters: upper half of one antler Nowitna Corridor hunters: lower front jaw
• Unsuccessful Hunters
  Report no later than October 10.

  If you hunted unsuccessfully or did not hunt, you may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov

Hunting Conditions

1) WHEN: Units 21B and 21D: Aug. 22-31 and Sept. 5-25
Unit 24D: Sept. 5-25

2) WHERE:
All Unit 21B, except that portion outside a four-mile wide corridor (2 miles either side of the Nowitna River) upstream of the Little Mud River Drainage; all Unit
21D outside the Koyukuk Controlled Use Area (KCUA); and the Remainder of Unit 24D outside the KCUA.

3) BAG LIMIT: One (1) bull moose.

4) REPORTING:
How: Complete the permit report online (http://hunt.alaska.gov), or return the completed permit report card to the vendor that issued the permit, or to Fairbanks
ADF&G in person or by mail. Successful hunters: Report within 14 days of kill. Unsuccessful hunters and those who did not hunt: Report no later than Oct. 10.

5) SPECIMENS:
Upper half of one antler, for all areas during all season dates announced above. In Unit 21B only, hunters who take a moose within 5 miles of either side of the
Nowitna River must turn in the lower front jaw during the period Sept. 5-25.

6) REMEMBER:
Meat must remain on the bone of the front quarters, hind quarters and ribs until the meat has been transported from the area or to the hunter's home; one antler
must be cut through the middle of the palm at the kill site and the upper half of one antler must be surrendered to ADF&G or designated representative.

7) WHO QUALIFIES: Alaska residents only, except those who received Drawing Permits DM802-830 and DM892.

8) PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT:
If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (Drawing, Targeted, Tier II, or Registration, including Tier I Nelchina Caribou) during the next
regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.
