Public Use and Access
No access is developed to the refuge and no public use facilities exist in the refuge. Local subsistence hunting and fishing and a recently established commercial herring fishery represent the main uses of the area. Residents from nearby Platinum and Goodnews communities access the area by beach and boat. Villagers from Togiak access the area by snowmachine.
