Lisa Lake Cabin

View from the cabin.The Lisa Lake Cabin is located on the northwest shore of Lisa Lake, about 40 miles southeast of Delta Junction. Lisa Lake is approximately 50 acres and is stocked by ADF&G with rainbow trout and landlocked coho salmon. For more lake information, please visit the Alaska Lake Database.

Amenities: Lisa Lake cabin sleeps four adults and is equipped with plywood bunks, benches, a table, wood stove, broom and dustpan, shovel, smoke/carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, outdoor fire ring, picnic table, and nearby outhouse.

Directions: GPS Coordinates: Latitude: N 63.71199 Longitude: W 144.6855. The cabin is accessed by an ATV trail that begins at MP 1381 of the Alaska Highway. There is a large parking area on the west side of the highway with a double-ended pullout where the trailhead is located. Follow the trail approximately 3/4 mile until you reach Lisa Lake. The cabin is on the northwest shore of the lake. Please note, off-road vehicles exceeding 1,500 pounds may require a permit from ADNR.

Special Notes: Pets are allowed but should be under your control, and you are responsible for cleaning up your pet waste. Be aware that unmarked traplines may be present along trails. Trap Safety for Pet Owners.

What to Bring: Cabin users should bring a sleeping bag and pad, food, cookware, dishes, utensils, cooking stove and fuel, matches, lighters, paper fire starters, first aid items, insect repellent, plastic trash bags, firewood (maximum length of 17 inches), Axe, flashlight, lantern, water or some way to purify water onsite, and 2 AA batteries for the smoke/carbon monoxide detector.
