During the last ten days we received locations for 4 female walruses. One walrus has stayed close to and hauled out on the barrier island near Point Lay. Two other walruses are in the Hanna Shoal Walrus Use Area northwest of Barrow. The fourth walrus is north of Wrangel Island, Russia, near the 200 m isobath in the northern Chukchi Sea.
