License Vendor Information

An Alaskan License Vendor is a business or individual appointed and authorized by the department to sell sport and commercial crewmember licenses, stamps, big game tags and other department items. Currently there are approximately 1100 license vendors located throughout the state with a few businesses located in other states and in Canada. Most sporting good stores, grocery stores, super centers, and other local entities sell licenses and other stock.

Active License vendors can find information, forms and general FAQs not related to hunting/fishing regulations on this web site.

Check out the new License Vendor Manual (PDF 18,628 kB) and our Annual Newsletter (PDF 4,000 kB). This online vendor manual will be updated on a regular basis and new versions will be posted online. We encourage you to use this online tool to obtain the latest vendor manual information as we will not be mailing every revised version.
