Director of Administrative Services

Bonnie Jensen was born in Bethel, AK, and shortly after, her family moved to Juneau. She began her career at ADF&G in 2005 as a college intern in the Division of Administrative Services and currently serves as the Director. To obtain additional experience, she worked in 5 other state agencies in positions ranging from Accounting Technician 1 to Accountant 5, focusing on governmental budgets and accounting.
Throughout her career, Bonnie has been involved with departmental and state-wide initiatives and efficiency planning, including training and accounting structure development. Her role at ADF&G is internal, to ensure the divisions have the supplies, information technology support, contract management, budget, and other administrative support services to complete their mission. She promotes knowledge-sharing and training opportunities that will benefit all ADF&G administrative staff as it increases productivity and efficiency.
Bonnie enjoys spending her free time skiing, fishing, mountain biking, camping, and all the wonderful activities Alaska offers with her two children, family, and friends.
