Operating Budget

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) has an operating budget of approximately $200 million, and it consists of a variety of funding sources, including federal receipts, general fund receipts, fish and game fund receipts, and several other sources. All of the state budgets are submitted through the State Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and funded by the state legislature.

Capital Budget

ADF&G has an annual capital budget that varies greatly from year to year. It consists of a mixture of federal receipts, general fund receipts, fish and game fund receipts, and other funding sources.

Performance Measures

ADF&G develops and tracks performance measures to demonstrate how the various funding is being used. All of the performance information is submitted through the State Office of Management and Budget.
