Liability Relinquishment

All participants must agree to this release. If injured while traveling to or from (by public, private, or any other means of conveyance) or while residing at and participating in programs of the Outdoor Youth Days or any auxiliary facilities, the participant, participant's parent(s), guardian(s), family members, agree:

  1. to waive any legal claims against the Outdoor Youth Days program, the Outdoor Heritage Foundation of Alaska, the State of Alaska, and all agents thereof;
  2. to assume any and all risks associated with the discharge of firearms, or other camp activities;
  3. to indemnify and hold harmless from and against any and all losses, expense, damages, injuries, and liabilities and claims (including attorney's fees, court costs, and settlement costs) arising out of relating to a camper's breach of this release or any act of omission of camper whatsoever;
  4. to give consent for the Outdoor Youth Days program to provide medical attentions, transportation, and emergency medical services as warranted;
  5. that in signing this release, it is sworn that camper is in good physical condition, current on necessary vaccinations, and is not aware of any disease or injury that would result in injury during program participation;
  6. to abide by the general rules of conduct prescribed for the Outdoor Youth Days program and that violations may result in denial of Camp privileges, up to and including dismissal from camp without refund of camp tuition.

Payment

The Outdoor Youth Day Coordinator will email you a payment link within 72 hours to confirm your place in the camp OR to let you know you have been waitlisted. If you have been waitlisted, there is still a chance you will make it into the camp, a coordinator will contact you if a spot becomes available.

A payment link will be sent to those who are confirmed, and payment must be made by May 3. The cost for each participant is $135.

Cancelation deadline is May 20th. If you cancel before this date, a $10 processing fee (no exceptions) will be deducted from your refund if you have already paid. Registrants who do not cancel on or before May 20th will be assessed the full program fee and not receive a refund.
