Residency Restrictions

  • Hunt available to Alaska residents

Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Within 5 days of kill, you must report the harvest location and sex of your goat to ADF&G in Ketchikan or Petersburg. Within 10 days of kill, you must present your goat skull cap with horns attached, and a completed permit report, to ADF&G in Ketchikan or Petersburg.
    • Specimens Required: Horns for measuring
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Within 15 days of close of season, you must submit a completed permit report to ADF&G, or report online at hunt.alaska.gov.
  • Internet Reporting
    If you hunted unsuccessfully or did not hunt, you may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov
