Residency Restrictions

  • Hunt available to Nonresidents
  • Hunt available to Alaska residents

Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Within 5 days of kill, you must report in person or by phone to ADF&G in Petersburg.
    • Specimens Required: Lower front teeth (on 5-inch section of jaw).
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Within 15 days of the close of season, you must submit a completed permit report to ADF&G or hunt.alaska.gov.
  • Internet Reporting
    If you hunted unsuccessfully or did not hunt, you may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov
