Salmon - Kenai & Kasilof Rivers
- Fishing for coho salmon on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers is excellent. Anglers are achieving bag limits throughout both rivers. Water conditions will determine success over the next few weeks as the Kenai has reached bankful and is occasionally exceeding minor flood levels after heavy rains lowering visibility. Fishing should be good for the next few weeks into October.
Resident Fish - Kenai & Kasilof Rivers
- Fishing for rainbow trout and Dolly Varden is excellent with sockeye salmon in peak spawn. Fishing should be good for the next few weeks into October.
Lake Fishing
- Lake fishing for rainbow trout has been good.
Northern Pike
- All public accessible lakes on the Peninsula have had invasive pike removed.
