Online Harvest Reporting Required for Upper Cook Inlet Personal Use Salmon Permit

(Palmer) - The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) reminds all Upper Cook Inlet Personal Use (UCI) permit holders you must submit your harvest report online no later than August 15, 2022, through the ADF&G Online Harvest Reporting webpage. The UCI permit also has a QR code that will take you directly to the Online Harvest Reporting webpage.

To report online, enter the first and last name on the permit, date of birth, and driver’s license number, and hit the Search Permit button. Select the 2022 Upper Cook Inlet Personal Use Salmon Permit (Kenai/Kasilof/Susitna/Fish Creek) and Add Harvest Record(s) or mark as not fished. Online reporting is required regardless of whether you obtained a UCI permit through the ADF&G online store or through a vendor, and whether you went dipnetting or not. Returning permits by mail or hand-delivery is no longer an acceptable means to report. If you have questions about online harvest reporting or need assistance, please contact your local ADF&G office.

Beginning with the 2022 fishing season, the penalty for failure to submit your UCI harvest report online by the August 15 reporting deadline is the loss of personal use fishing privileges in 2023. Permit holders who fail to report will be denied a permit for the fishery in the year following the failure to report.

To help you report your harvest in a timely manner, be sure to provide a valid email address when obtaining your permit so that ADF&G can send you a reminder email prior to the end of the fishing season. Additionally, you can subscribe to receive emergency orders and advisory announcements for the Northern Kenai Peninsula and Mat-Su/West Cook areas.
