2013 SPORT FISH GUIDE AND BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATIONS AND LOGBOOKS AVAILABLE

The 2013 Sport Fish Business Owner/Guide License and Logbooks are now available. All sport fishing guide businesses and guides operating in Alaska must be licensed with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) and must acquire logbook(s) BEFORE beginning operations in 2013.

State of Alaska sport fishing guide and business owner license requirements are available for review at:
http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=prolicenses.businesslicense.

License applications for 2013 are now available directly online at: https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/store/.

License applications are also available to download to your printer and mail in to ADF&G at:
http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=prolicenses.forms.

Renewal license applications have been sent to all sport fishing guides and guide businesses that were licensed in 2012.

Guide and Business Owner licenses and the Saltwater and Freshwater Logbooks for 2013 are also now available at all ADF&G offices. All licensed guide business owners must acquire a logbook prior to commencement of guiding activities.

Logbooks are issued to only those guide businesses that are currently licensed by ADF&G. If a vessel is used to transport clients during a fishing trip, current Alaska Dept. of Motor Vehicle registration numbers or Coast Guard vessel documentation numbers must be provided.
