(Ketchikan) - The Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Alaska Wildlife Troopers will host a free public event Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Ward Lake Rotary Shelter.

Department staff will be available to answer questions about shellfish regulations, pot gear requirements and will provide instruction and/or materials to bring gear into compliance. Bring your sport/personal use crab and shrimp pots.

Information about rockfish regulations, deepwater release use and requirements, bag and possession limits and species identification will also be available.
