Online Fishing Forum: Kachemak Bay Winter King Salmon Fishing

(Statewide) - Is winter king salmon fishing in Kachemak Bay something you’ve been wanting to try? If so, you should tune in for this online fishing forum, which gives some great ocean fishing tips for targeting king salmon. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish, will be hosting an online fishing forum titled, “Kachemak Bay Winter King Salmon Fishing,” on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game YouTube channel. The presentation will cover salmon identification, Kachemak Bay area regulations, commonly used gear, good spots to fish, and some other great tips and tricks. This fishing forum will be available on YouTube on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. ADF&G staff will be available to answer any questions in real-time on the YouTube chat from 6:00 p.m. until the close of the presentation. The presentation will then remain on the ADF&G YouTube channel and can be viewed any time after the premiere.
