(Statewide) - Do you live on or visit Kodiak Island and have the desire to up your winter king fishing game? Whether or not you are on Kodiak Island, you should tune into this online fishing forum, which gives some great ocean fishing tips for targeting king salmon. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish, will be hosting an online fishing forum titled, “Kodiak Winter King Salmon Fishing,” on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game YouTube channel. The presentation will cover salmon identification, Kodiak area regulations, king salmon migration around Kodiak, commonly used gear, and some great tips and tricks. This fishing forum will be available on YouTube on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. ADF&G staff will be available to answer any questions in real-time on the YouTube chat from 7:00 p.m. until the close of the presentation. The presentation will then remain on the ADF&G YouTube channel and can be viewed any time after the premiere.
