Goose Creek is located at mile 93.4 of the Parks Highway. The 2017 Southcentral Alaska Sport Fishing Regulation Summary booklet incorrectly states on page 24 that Goose Creek is open to fishing for king salmon. Goose Creek is closed to fishing for king salmon (all sizes) by regulation. This error has been corrected in the online version of the summary booklet.

From its mouth upstream to the Parks Highway bridge:
Jan. 1 - June 19 | Open to all species, except king salmon. |
June 20 - 23 | Closed to all fishing. |
June 24 - 26 | Open to all species, except king salmon. |
June 27 - 30 | Closed to all fishing. |
July 1 - 3 | Open to all species, except king salmon. |
July 4 - 13 | Closed to all fishing. |
July 14 - Dec. 31 | Open to all species, except king salmon. |
Fishing is not allowed from 11:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., May 15 - July 13.
Upstream of the Parks Highway bridge: Open to fishing for all species (except king salmon) year-round.
Only one, unbaited, single-hook, artificial lure is allowed.
