This includes practicing social distancing while sport and personal use fishing and wearing a face covering when fishing and if you are needing fishing supplies from your local store as indicated in Health Alert 010.
Water levels on the Tanana River and tributaries have started to stabilize towards historical averages and Arctic grayling fishing on the upper Chena and Chatanika rivers has improved.
Spring stocking in the Tanana River Management Area concluded last week with a total of 68 stocking trips completed by hatchery and stocked waters staff.
Fishing on local stocked lakes has been reported to be good.
Fishing for Arctic grayling in the Delta Clearwater River and within the Nenana River drainage remains decent.
Water levels in Minto Flats remains high and there is little to no ground available for onshore use; however, fishing for northern pike in the lower Chatanika and Tolovana rivers has been good.
This coming weekend starts the Chena River youth-only weekend fishery. Anglers 15 and younger may retain 1 Arctic grayling of any size in the lower Chena River for the next 4 weekends.
