Comments: Observer Sean Meade with the US Forest Service conducted a pre-construction, all-fish extraction at the failed culvert crossing on Goat Camp Rd (FS 220) directly East of the Sheridan River. Observations on previous occasions have shown adult Coho salmon in this location but this sweep of fish via minnow traps found three juvenile Coho salmon. The fish were released into a pond directly to the West that is unnamed but connected to the stream the juveniles were caught in. The stream is highly variable in connectivity and flow depending on time of year and rainfall. The location that was trapped consistently holds water and has been converted to a hardened low water crossing/fjord.
