(Homer) - The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish Homer area management staff will be hosting an end-of-season sport fishery town hall style public meeting. Sport fishery topics specific to the Homer area will be discussed, including updated harvest estimates for saltwater and freshwater fisheries, and results from 2025 monitoring efforts on local king salmon, coho salmon, and razor clam stocks, among other topics. The upcoming 2026/2027 Board of Fisheries cycle with Lower Cook Inlet and Upper Cook Inlet meetings will also be discussed.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve located at 2181 Kachemak Drive.
