2006 SPORT FISH GUIDE AND BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE

All sport fishing guides and businesses operating in Alaska must be licensed with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) before beginning operations.

State of Alaska sport fishing guide and business owner license requirements have been updated and are available for review on:

http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/statewide/Guides/guide.cfm

Please review the sport fish guide and guide business requirements thoroughly. All guides and guide businesses must be licensed, and all charter/guide businesses must have a logbook issued to that business prior to commencement of guiding activities.

License applications for 2006 are now available through the internet, and will be available at all area Fish and Game offices in January 2006. All sport fishing guides and guide businesses who were licensed in 2005 will be receiving renewal applications in the mail after January 1, 2006.

Licenses for 2006 are now available to purchase on line using a credit card at:

http://www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/

License applications are also available to download from your printer and mail in to ADF&G at:

http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/statewide/Guides/guideForms.cfm

Once the completed license application is received by ADF&G, a wallet-sized license card will be issued. Please allow up to 15 days for processing.
