Ice House Registration Requirement for the Upper Copper-Upper Susitna Management Area Suspended Through May 31, 2027

(Glennallen) - Anglers are not required to register ice fishing houses with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in the Upper Copper-Upper Susitna Management Area from Wednesday, September 16, 2026 through May 31, 2027.

Anglers may use ice fishing houses or “pop-ups” without obtaining or displaying an ADF&G ice house registration number.
