Comments: Observer: Derek Kuda (Fish Biologist) Stream 102-70-10800, Barren Creek which is located north of Sandy Beach on Prince of Wales Island. This nomination isextension of range of pink salmon observed farther upstream than earlier this September. Ground observations were made and documented adult pink salmon present up to a logjam 0.4 miles upstream. All total 28 adult pink salmon were observed from the pool above the bridge at low tide (1 male) to the logjam. No fish nor carcasses were found upstream of the logjam. At least 3 active redds were observed.
