Comments: Nomination by Heather Bauscher and Eric Castro (US Forest Service) - they saw spawning pink salmon (about 20-35 fish) in a stream with a steep gradient near Scotty Cove and noted there is likely good fish habitat further upstream. They also spotted a (likely) cutthroat trout but didn't get photo documentation but wanted to share their sighting. See M-AWC-1134 and detail 1129 and 1130 in Excel spreadsheet Latitude 57.9810386 Longitude -136.3065567 With stream gradient at 6% Eric observed that it was surprising to see so many salmon at the mouth. Likely that there is good habitat further upstream. People are known to catch fish in the salt at Scotty Cove. This spot seems to be farthest extent barrier of waterfalls beyond
