Comments: This stream is likely a side channel of Young Creek and passes under the Chickaloon Trail through a small culvert 100m East of the main channel of Young Creek. Cody Henrikson and Ben Americus walked the stream from its intersection with Kings River (61.74767, -148.71078) up to the crossing on a private driveway (61.745861, -148.708786). In this reach the stream did not intersect with Young Creek, but it appears to originate from Young Creek further upstream. We set baited minnow traps for 24 hours. We caught 1 juvenile coho salmon in the reach downstream of the culvert under Chickaloon Trail and 1 Coho and 3 Dolly Varden in the reach above this culvert.
