Comments: This information was gathered as part of the joint reconnaissance level project between the ADF&G Habitat Division and the Fish Passage Assessment Project on Adak Island. Due to time constraints full site assessments were not conducted, but base line information was collected. Likely barrier about 115 feet upstream from crossing. Upstream was dammed and ponded for water supply, pipeline still visible and there is a geyser of water coming out of one of the old pipes upstream. Adult pink salmon observed upstream to potential barrier and downstream of crossing. Inlets at almost buried with sediment and debris. Cannot see through either culvert. Site has been nominated to the AWC for pink salmon spawning. Site might be inundated at very high tides.
