Comments: This information was gathered as part of the joint reconnaissance level project between the ADF&G Habitat Division and the Fish Passage Assessment Project on Adak Island. Due to time constraints full site assessments were not conducted, but base line information was collected. Sweeper Creek is currently cataloged to the southern side of Runway 5. Adult sockeye and pink salmon were observed on the upstream side of the crossing and juvenile coho salmon were electrofished in the ditch that runs southwest along Runway 5 and coho salmon were also electrofished at site ADK03 on the Northeast side of Runway 5. All areas will be nominated to the AWC.
