Welcome to Petersburg/Wrangell Area Sport Fishing Tour
Find your place. Find your fish.
Forested and glaciated mountains, numerous islands, expansive alluvial river deltas, and ice-choked glacial fjords make up the landscape in the diverse central portion of Southeast Alaska. For freshwater anglers, there is a lifetime of exploration among the hundreds of streams and lakes located within the remote and sparsely populated islands and coastal areas. These freshwater systems range from short, steep island streams to the 370 miles long Stikine River. Anglers will also find abundant saltwater fishing opportunities among the many islands, marine pinnacles, and fjords found in the protected waters of the Inside Passage.
This interactive map is a guide to some of the popular sport fishing locations in the area and provides information on species run timing, fishing gear selection, as well as boat and angler access.
Please be sure to check the ADF&G Sport Fishing Regulations, Emergency Orders and News Releases, and Weekly Sport Fishing Reports before heading out on the water.
